Why, this is yet another overlooked release by a more famous band, except this one is even more obscure than the Stereolab album, and it's by a more well-known band too! It's only been pressed on vinyl, actually. The only downside is that the sound quality is pretty subpar and it's essentially a bootleg. Also, it has some samples of dialogue that might get a bit annoying after a while. This one's especially valued for its rare blue vinyl version, of which less than 700 exist. It's also valued because of its awesome 7-minute version of the best Verve song ever, Slide Away. Because of this, you can't buy it for a reasonable price anywhere, so just sit back and enjoy the tunes.
Also, if you're holding back on this because you didn't like "Bittersweet Symphony", give it a shot anyway. Their early stuff, including this album here, has little in common with their Britpop stuff released later, though that stuff's good too.
(this post may or may not have been inspired by the fact that I've been going on a Verve binge lately)
